§ 06Company

Built for the work between systems.

Retypd exists to take on the least glamorous problem in the enterprise: the hours skilled people spend carrying information from one system to another. We do it with computer agents that answer to the same controls as your people.

§ 01Mission

No one should spend a career as the glue between two systems.

Every large organisation runs on applications that were never designed to work together. The gap between them is filled by people — copying, keying, checking and chasing — and it is one of the largest unmeasured costs in the modern enterprise.

Our mission is to retire that work, safely. We build the agents, put them to work inside your operation, and answer for every action they take — so the people who carried the load can spend their time on judgement, service and growth.

§ 02Why now

An old problem. A new kind of answer.

Three things had to be true before computer agents could be trusted with enterprise work. Now they are.

  1. 01

    Agents can read the screen

Models now understand an application the way a trained operator does — by label, layout and meaning, not by coordinates.

  2. 02

    The work never went away

Integration projects and a decade of bots left the gap between systems intact. It is still filled by people, retyping.

  3. 03

    Governance is the bottleneck

Enterprises will not let software act without controls they can audit. So we built the controls first, and the speed second.

§ 03Principles

Four rules we do not bend.

They shape what we build, how we deploy it and whom we hire.

  1. I

    Governed before autonomous

No capability ships before the control that bounds it. Autonomy is something a workflow earns, never a default.

  2. II

    Evidence over assertion

Every claim we make — about accuracy, hours or risk — is backed by a record you can inspect.

  3. III

    The operator is the expert

Agents learn from the people who do the work, not from requirements documents written about it.

  4. IV

    Reversible by default

If an action can be undone, we move quickly. If it cannot, a person decides.

§ 04The team
Fig. 4.1A working session, San Francisco.

Small team. Long accountability.

We are engineers, researchers and operators who have spent our careers inside enterprise operations — building the systems, and doing the work, that Autofil now takes on. We work in small teams that own an outcome end to end: from the first conversation with an operator to the agent running in production, and the evidence behind it.

§ —Next step

Bring us the work no one wants.

Name one process your people dread. In a single working session, our engineers will show you what agents would take on — and what they would refuse to touch without a person.
